Focus: Character Rigging and Retargeting

Initiated the rigging process for the main character. Focused on retargeting T-posing character's skeleton mesh to A-pose  ensuring compatibility with the animation system and preparing the character for future sequences.

Problems :

  • Character had a missing root bone so it became extremely hard to add animation to the character without breaking something else
  • Texture-less character had to get it's textures manually applied
  • The character had a skull for it's face which was not inline with the theme of this project so I had to manually remove it and add an emissive visor

What was done :

Imported the MC  to my project

Retextured the character

The skull from the MC was removed and a Visor was provided to fit the narrative

Focus: Level Designing

Started working on the game environment. Blocked out major areas, implemented initial spatial design, and set up potential scenes in which the character would appear in the sequence. Prioritized visual storytelling through environmental elements and color corrected several areas of interests.

What was Done :

  • Color Corrected and adjusted several areas
